GERMOL EP
Product Description
The Germol range of products are high quality, lead free EP oils having excellent chemical and thermal stability coupled with high load carrying capacity. The formulations provide corrosion protection, antifoam properties, oxidation resistance and demulsifying ability.
Applications
Germol products will find application in the circulatory, bath and splash lubrication of spur, helical and worm type industrial gears.
Features and Benefits
Long Operating Life
Based on high quality solvent refined oils and selected stability additives ensures a long and trouble free oil life.
Excellent Demulsibility
The demulsifying properties allows the oil to quickly shed water, resistant to mousse and emulsion formation, maintains consistent lubrication.
Chemical and Thermal Stability
Allows high bulk oil operating temperatures, up to 100 ºC with little or no degradation. Additionally the good viscosity characterics ensures low starting torques in cold weather.
Advanced Additive Package
The Germol range incorporates an advanced additive package which imparts very high antiwear properties, corrosion prevention and antifoam.
Lead Free
Being lead free means improved operator safety and lower environmental risk.
Packing, Storage and Handling
Germol EP is available in 5, 20, and 210 litre containers. Storage should be in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight, the product may be stored for long periods without detriment.
Use
The correct viscosity grade of Germol EP should be chosen by reference to the equipment manufacturers hand book or by comparison to the previously used lubricant.
