BRYTO No 5

Bryto No 5 is an aqueous synthetic general purpose grinding fluid.

Product Description

Bryto No 5 is a purpose formulated fully synthetic grinding fluid based on conventional nitrite/amine technology. The product containsno oils or soaps and it is readily soluble in water to give a pale green translucent stable solution.

Applications

The product is recommended for all surfacegrinding, cylindrical (internal and external) grinding, tool, and cutter grinding.The product is particularly recommended for use in centreless operations.

Bryto No 5 is primarily for use in grinding ferrous components, it may be used on copper but may cause staining, it is not suitable for aluminium.

Does not create wheel glazing, thereby extending wheel life, reducing downtime and because the true and consistent reproduction of the wheel grit is maintained ,high throughput.

Effective at high dilutions.

The product functions at high dilutions leading to excellent cooling, improved visibility of the workpiece and rapid settling of grinding debris.

Excellent Corrosion Inhibition

Bryto No 5 shows excellent corrosion control, rusting is controlled even at high dilutions, the product does not leave a sticky residue on drying.

  

Packing, Storage and Handling

Bryto No 5 containers should be stored inside out of direct sunlight, protect from freezing. The product is available in 5, 20 and 210 litre drums.

Use

Bryto No 5 mixes easily with water, thedilutions below are given as a guideline:-

Stainless Steel 1 part to 180 parts water
Carbon Steel 1 part to 100 parts water
High duty iron 1 part to 50 parts water
Malleable iron 1 part to 80 parts water
Cast Iron 1 part to 40 parts water

Bryto no 5 operates best at room temperature excessive temperatures of > 65 º C should be avoided.
