TefTEC cartridge filters are constructed with naturally hydrophobic PTFE membrane and polypropylene support layers and components. The HIMA retentive PTFE membrane offers superior hydrophobicity and water intrusion resistance compared to PVDF and polypropylene membranes, and the cartridge construction offers a cost-effective alternative to all fluorocarbon filters. TefTEC filters are ideal for gas/vent applications and the filtration of aggressive chemicals and solvents.

Flowrite Clear Bowl Filter Housing

Flowrite “FH138” clear bowl filter cartridge housings are suitable for use in most liquid filtration applications. Constructed from polyethylene terephthalate [PET], the most common thermoplastic polymer resin, allowing for a wide range of industrial and domestic uses.

The housing is suitable for most 9¾” and 10″ double open-ended filter cartridges. The Flowrite housing has ¾” NPT threaded connections with a “screw-type” pressure relief valve, which allows easy filter change-out.

Options are available for wall-mounting (optional brackets available) or plumbed in-line and it has a buttress-type thread providing easy removal of sump for cartridge removal. The filter can then be removed by closing the inlet valve and opening the sump. This housing is for use on liquid service only. Not suitable for gas and manufacturing fluids.

The Flowrite “PS” series in-line basket strainers utilize modern engineering techniques to provide a strong, robust strainer with a maximum pressure rating of 1000 kPa.

Flowrite “PS” series strainers are made from durable 304 stainless steel to ensure years of maintenance-free, reliable service. They are fitted with uniquely designed, oversized mesh-lined strainer baskets for low operating pressure drop and maximum dirt holding capacity.

One of the useful features of the “PS” strainer range is the unit’s cover which is secured by three simple and durable swing bolts to provide easy access to the strainer basket for cleaning.

Flowrite 1FS2 Bag Filter housing

The Flowrite “xFSi2” series bag filter housings utilise modern engineering techniques to provide a robust vessel with a maximum pressure rating of 1000 kPa. Flowrite “FS” series housings are made from durable 304 or 316 stainless steel to ensure years of maintenance-free, reliable service. They are free-standing and are fitted standard with 50mm or 80mm flanged inlet and outlet connections. Other sizes are available on request.

Flowrite “FS” Series bag filter housings are the automatic choice for safe, trouble-free and cost-effective filtration.

Amongst the many features of the “FS” series housings are covers secured by four swing-bolts to allow quick, easy access to the filter bag.
Internally, the filter bag is securely supported by a stainless steel perforated plate basket to provide maximum strength and minimum flow resistance.
Bag-to-housing seal is assured by FSI’s proven Polyloc® ring sealing method.

The Polyloc® ring ensures that no bypass occurs during the filtration process. The Flowrite FSI2 housing is a standard double-length vessel (industry standard D/L 32″ filter bags) and is available in multiple bag configurations. From a1-bag up to a 12-round bag housing thereby providing one vessel for the flow rate required for your application.

Flowrite Tank Breather Filter

Flowrite “TB” Series

Flowrite “TB” Series Tank breather filters are fabricated from 304-Stainless Steel. They are designed for a maximum operating pressure of 100 kPa at80ºC, depending on cartridges fitted. The “TB” Series housings feature Flowrite’s well proven centre post and nut design. Cartridges are located by their own end seals and a securing plate to which is attached a perforated stainless steel shield which allows free passage for the entering and exiting air during tank emptying and filling cycles.

The cartridges have double ”O” rings which give a perfect seal between cartridges and housing, thus eliminating any possibility of bypass. The practical and sturdy design of these housings allows quick and convenient cartridge change out of the 9¾” modular length filter cartridges.

Flowrite “TB” Series filter housings are available in one, two, three & four cartridge configurations to minimize pressure drop, and thus protect the tank from differential pressures while emptying or filling. The inlet port can be threaded or flanged to your specifications, and the unit is supplied in electro polished finish suitable for most semi and non-sanitary applications.

The housing should be used in conjunction with hydrophobic cartridges with a micron rating to your specification, which are also available from Flowrite

The single shell design has been a standard in the industry for over 30 years. The FOC range is available in a cast iron head with a carbon steel body. The Maximum operating pressure on the units is 250psig (17 bar) @ 275°F
